Prejudice is the feeling- either good or bad. Some implicit measures capture the content of stereotypes. Tendency to shoot an unarmed black man more than shooting an unarmed white man. Cultural stereotypes has something to do with violence. Black or white faces morphing from anger to happiness. Anger tends to linger longer on a black face. Tells us about the content of stereotypes that anger is connected to black men more so than white men. Contact between minority and majority members will reduce prejudice (in the majority level) and raise self-esteem (in the minority level) Other groups have more advantages and structures among groups. Robbers cave thought that contact was not going to be enough so there needs to be meaningful social interaction (think about the boys video) Realizing there are people different than me and there will be common objectives. Everyone needs to feel equal working towards the common goal.
