Clients play a major role in determining the pace and direction of therapy. Reflect statements back to client, but with enhanced clarity. Simultaneous treatment of several clients in a group. Group members provide acceptance and emotional support. Some mental illnesses are difficult to treat with psychotherapy. Typical were causing side effects such as tics.
