Dissociative amnesia: loss of memory for personal information. Dissociative identity disorder (did): two or more identities in the same individual. Sudden, unexpected travel away from home with inability to recall one"s past. Start a brand new persona and new life. Verbal interactions with client with intention of enhancing client"s understanding of themselves. Talking about anything that comes to mind. Therapist tries to explain significance of the client"s thoughts, feelings, etc. Therapist interprets what you see, say, how you project yourself.
