Trying to unseat the government by overthrowing the government. Political parties had not taken hold yet, freak out about effort to maybe overthrow the government though criticism. First amendment prohibits prior restraints on expression. Disagreement on the world freedom of speech . Result: is an expansion of the speech rights not by courts or judges but by (congress?)
