Questions: what, here, when, why, and how. Systematic continuities and changes over course of life: orderly: patterned and relatively enduring, continuities: ways we remain the same or continued to reflect the past. Developmental psychology identifies and explains the continuities and changes individuals display over time. Developmentalist a(cid:374)yo(cid:374)e (cid:449)ho studies the process of de(cid:448)elop(cid:373)e(cid:374)t . Maturation biological unfolding of an individual (changes from aging: species typical biological inheritance, individual person"s biological inheritance. Learning experiences producing relatively permanent changes in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
