The problem is that the government will devote all of its resources in making the city great and will not have enough resources in making the rural area great. How does urbanization affect social relationships? (durkheim and simmel versus gans and abrahamson) other (alienation). Durkheim believes that this feeling of isolation will lead people to suicide. The cause of suicide, according to durkheim is people do not feel incorporated in society.
