Terrorism is the use of violence and intimidation against non-combatants in order to achieve political aims. It is a form of political violence: two critical features: achievement of political aims and non-combatants, however, there is disagreement about what terrorism means, the state department"s definition holds that only sub-national groups, not states themselves, can commit acts of terrorism. Asymmetric warfare is the use of apparently random/unpredictable violence by an weak military against a stronger military to gain advantage. (allen, 1997). The key of asymmetric warfare is using unexpected, unconventional tactics in combat (craig, 1998). Suicide bombing: is a politically motivated violent attack perpetrated by a self-aware individual (or individuals) who actively and purposely causes his own death through blowing himself up along with his chosen target. The perpetrator"s ensured death is a precondition for the success of his mission. schweitzer, 2000. History of terrorism: terror has been used to achieve political ends and has a long history.
