Killing and all other crimes does not make you psychiatric disturbed. It goes back to all human behavior being goal directed and pleasure seeking. *male serial killers are more physical, cutting dismembering, beating, perverted, public. Women serial killers are a little more elaborate, not as violent or physical, take a longer time to be noticed, use of poison, drugs, for insurance. As a forensic psychologist: looks at the crime scene photos, read the detective reports and can tell if the perpetrator sis organized, neat, disorganized. Crime scene is a work of art, show"s us what the criminal is like. Art for the artist, is what the crime scene is for the criminal: what kind of person is the criminal, based on the crime scene. Psychotic characteristics: lone type personality, generally remains isolated or secluded. Serial killers wait a month before going on to the next victim.
