Huntley hearing: a hearing for the judge to determine whether or not to suppress a statement made by the defendant to an incumbent servant. Wade hearing: a hearing for the court to determine whether or not to suppress a pre trial identification that was made. Defense can appeal the suppression (after a while) Once suppressed: is called the law of the case. Dunaway: probable cause hearing: to determine if police had probable cause. Show up: police gets a description and canvases the area for a person that fits the description. They get the person, and bring him/her to the victim or bring the victim to the person and ask is this the person that committed the crime . Photo array: prepare a board with six photos.
