Mr. tolson effectively utilizes many different nonverbal communication behaviors throughout the entire film. The first nonverbal communication behavior i noticed was how he utilized hand movements to emphasis the point he is trying to get across. Alongside his hand movements, he uses body movements to emphasis his message. His pacing while speaking, combined with hand and arm movements, is very effective. Mr. tolson wears very professional clothes in most of the scenes he is in, making him appear more intelligent than if he were wearing casual clothes. In one scene, he is wearing farmer clothes to have more influence over the farmers he is speaking to as it makes him appear to be exactly like them. During debates, mr. tolson utilized proxemics by getting closer to his debate opponent. He is able to implement fear into his opponent by appearing extremely confident in the point he is debating.
