Leadership quality for ceos around the world (ibm 2010) Integrity (52%: creativity (60%, global thinking (35%, openness (28%, dedication (26%, focus on sustainability (26%) ; used to select people: factors: (e. g. thinking, implementation, strategic positioning, etc. ) typically has 6-8 factors, dimensions: (e. g. decision making, motivating others, championing change, etc. ) typically has 20-30 dimensions, behaviors: typically has hundreds of behavior. Identified early: more sacrifices, rarely derailed managers, lack of technical/business/functional skills, lack of basic intelligence, derailers, problems with interpersonal relationships, difficulty in molding a staff, difficulty in making strategic transitions, untrustworthiness, overdependence.
