Stage manager acts as a liaison between people and run & manage the show after opening night. We"re whoever we need to be to get the job done. The art and craft lay in how we manoeuvre in that grey area which is often lled with a scheming ideas and crazy personalities. I do consider myself an artist there are technical and creative aspects to me work, no matter what i do. : calendars, contact lists, rehearsal reports, prop mosts, scene & character breakdowns, shift plots, meeting notes. Calendar & schedule are important documents that everyone in the production uses. Stage manager talks to :: producers, production manager, cast, director, designers. It is important how the stage managers communicate with each segment of people. Rehearsals: stage managers must manage all aspect of rehearsals. Keep record of everything: notate staging.
