Departmental vs enterprise bi: departmental bi may allow for a faster soluion, tailored to the speciic needs of a business or department, but enterprise-wide bi allows for greater sustainable impact. The key is in ensuring a shit to the enterprise does not become inlexible and monolithic. Bus: ease of use to create a business view in the paricular bi tool. Bi steering commitee: consider both the buy-in and size of the commitee, weigh size vs. efeciveness. The best people and leaders: there is an on-going war for talent. One way companies can foster a greater sense of membership is to celebrate major bi milestones: mastery the ability for employees to enjoy challenging work, gain new skills and contribute to the future.
