It has significant anticholinergic properties. for this drug: teratogenic in rodents, but no adverse effects reported in humans. Meclizine (hydrochloride; bonine , antivert : available otc, primary use to prevent motion sickness, the recommended dose is 25 to 50 mg one hr prior to travel.
