Closer to 0 means income is more equally distributed** Neoliberalism: government is the problem, free trade is the answer. Rostow"s modernization theory: start off with limited technology, slowly expand manufacturing and distribution until you reach high-mass consumption. Dependency theory(world systems theory): modernized country uses the periphery for resources, and makes goods and sells them back to them. Type and level of technology determines how i land is, and what land is productive.
