Let"s you tell a story and what"s happening based on their point of view. Be creative and vary who you talk to. Learn as much as you can about your subject ahead of time. Use those questions as a guideline and to help give focus to your story. Look straight in the eyes of the person you are interviewing. Tell subject to look at me not the camera. Try to conduct interview at scene of event or in the setting of the story. Find our your interviewee"s full name and how to spell and pronounce it. If the person is not official get a title. Ask specific questions and one at a time. Questions that start with why, how and what. Actively listen to what that person is saying to you.
