Christmas tree worms live in the coral. Calcium carbonate is also called limestone, aragonite, and calcite. 98% of food that coral eat are produced by the algae. Dinoflagellates are single cell autotrophs, have flagella, and live symbiotically with corals. Have pigments only seen under ultraviolet light. At night, corals feed: and add to the limestones beneath them, corals can overgrow, close corals get digested by the dominant one/aggressor. Arthropoda, such as crabs, are called this because they have jointed feet. Cause of erosion: poop is sand. Some p and n is recycled in the ocean and it comes from bird poop. Queen is the only one to produce eggs. Arthropoda: have an exoskeleton made of chitin, have jointed feet, ex. Rays use electro-receptor to scan the sea floor. The fastest brown sturgeon fish are most successful in reproducing which is a mechanism for natural selection. Tropical cyclones are also called hurricanes, typhoons, and cyclones.
