Located in the throat, vagina, anal canal. Outer layer is dead so it can shed. Endocrine glands: secrete into the blood stream (ex. hormones, thyroid, pancreas pituitary) Exocrine gland- secretes out (ex. sweat, saliva, digestive juices)
