Lack ability to make sufficient arachicdonic acid (from linoleic acid) Their liver makes all the glucose they need (gluconeogenesis) Pancreas is not sending enzymes to the lumen. Treatment utilizes pancreatin (protease, amylase, and lipase) medicine.
