Have cilia which circulate csf around the cns. Choroid plexus: a population of modified ependymal cells and capillaries to make csf. Functions: cushions and protects brain, helps the brain float, removes toxins and maintains ionic balance, makes sure the right amount of ions are there for the action potentials of. Ventricles circulate csf around the brain neurons. Proper neuronal function depends on both neurons and glia working together. Ganglia: groups of neurons, particularly in the spinal cord. Carries messages to and from the cns. Interacts with motor and sensory neurons: helps you move. Send sand receives messages to regulate automatic behaviors of the body: heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, digestion, data from organs, provides feedback to guide behaviors and further regulate what the ans is doing. Sympathetic ns: prepares the organ for vigorous activity, fight or flight, norepinephrine is one of the main nt.
