Archaeologists found female goddess figures carved into stone. Thought ultimate power of nature was female earth goddess. What we are studying in hinduism comes from product of aryan culture. Everything in hinduism is broken down into smaller units. But you need each piece to have a larger function in totality. In hinduism mind is more important than the body. If you can gain control over the mind, you can have control over the body. Family is more important than the individual.
