In order to get more understanding of member"s daily work performance, it is important that the manager holds constant conversation with members. James focused on getting his regular work updates with his team meetings and works, i think his approach for dealing with global managers were very much stereotyping. If james addressed the problem in their infancy, the problems would not have blown, including odd team meetings time and misunderstanding due to the pay scales. James had no contact with his team before his trip. It is their responsibility to know what is going on and proactively be aware of potential risks and issues. Open work environment built trust and team cohesion, it helped diverse employees to work together even in multiple time zones. Diversity on james"s team created new ideas and brought the level of team performance up. On on hand, diversity can create communication on a global team. James faced a lot of problems because of that.
