Physical bullying: kicking, punching, violence through weapons, unwanted, harmful physical contact. Verbal bullying: teasing, insulting, name calling. Relational/social bullying: targets victim"s relationships, ignoring, gossiping, exclusion (leaving others out of games or cliques, manipulates others to hurt victim, more common in girls. Cyber bullying: extension of traditional forms of bullying, posting/sending nasty comments or embarrassing pictures through: Facebook, emails, cell phones, text, twitter, snapchat, instagram. 6 out of every 10 kids have been hurt online. According to national crime prevention center, over 60% of all teens with internet access have reported being bullied online during the past year. Girls more likely to be the target of cyber bullying.
