Some siblings are so different: development, culture, mindset. May not think what happened to them was wrong. So used to it: level of support. Interviewers are: supportive, warm, friendly, while maintaining objectivity: If child on the floor, interviewer is too. Use appropriate: language, vocabulary, use people"s names, place names, and specific nouns to avoid confusion. A lot of people coming in/out of children"s lives. Aware of implications in using words like some or any : limits information, say tell me everything that he/she did . Always assessing does the child understand the interviewer: and vice-versa. Sentences are short and simple: don"t stack questions.
