National organization for women (now): big deal, got civil rights acts passed to not discriminate by gender, tax changes, maternity leave (unpaid) achieved. Roe v. wade: waitress with unplanned pregnancy. Idea at the time was to get judges to look at sympathetics of certain cases instead of going entirely by bills and laws. In the end, she gets the right to her privacy. Radical feminism (third wave): (cid:858)se(cid:454)is(cid:373) is at (cid:272)o(cid:396)e of all a(cid:373)e(cid:396)i(cid:272)a(cid:374) ills(cid:859) If you can fix it then everything would be great: they said we need to fix gender inequality before race inequality, disagreements between the movements.
