The issue that i am addressing in my proposal argument essay is the detrimental nature of online courses versus face-to-face courses. I believe the structure of online courses needs to be changed in order to actually benefit the students. While not all courses are relevant to one"s major, there is something to be learned from all classes (i. e. group work, critical thinking, and well rounded knowledge). When working on an online course, it is likely that you are never talking to your classmates or working together with anybody for that matter. I think the issue can be improved by the implementation of some face-to-face contact with online courses. This could be made possible with a few meeting times during the course of the class. Another way to improve the situation could be to simply require group work and discussion over applications such as skype.
