Does not become longer as body get longer the testis get pulled down more and more and at about 8 months the testis are being pulled through inguinal canal and descend into the scrotum by birth. Testis are not housed in the peritoneal cavity thorugh out life because the sperm needs to be kept at a temperature lower than core temperature (needs to be cooler)
