Document Summary

Perpetual pump - always working transporting nutrients and oxygen to other parts for the body. Right side lower oxygen of the body then goes to the lungs (pulmonary circulation) Picking up oxygen dropping off carbon dioxide. Cardiac test: atria fill with blood simultaneously(diastole - relax , then the atria contract push blood into ventricles(systole- contract , ventricles contract (systole) Ekg/ecg electrocardiogram: tells us about the coordinating electrical impulses. Heart beat tells us rate of contraction. Natural pacemaker - regulate through the sparks of electricity. Vessels that leave the heart and to the lungs - thick and strong are the arteries under great pressure. Too much pressure can damage, too little than they blood can"t be transported. Capillaries where gases exchange and then form into into venule and they becomes vein. Arteries are built for change, thick walled( smooth muscle) Veins are low pressure contain valves possible for it to hit.
