Great happiness principle: pleasure is uncondiionally good; Pain is uncondiionally bad: consequences of our acion or an act, acion is right in so far as it promotes overall happiness; wrong if the opposite, everyone is counted equally. If someone was drowning in a pool it maters who is drowning and who to save. It doesn"t mater who"s drowning in the pool; its right to save them. Moral acion need not be our only moive. Should be concerned with everyone"s happiness of acion duty.
