Ex. saying you going to drink all the time, but taste it and not liking it. You will be more likely to lie if you are paid. instead of you have to convince yourself at a lower price to lie and you start to believe yourself. Does not assume experience of cognitive dissonance. Seems to apply in case of no prior attitude or only slight. Ex. good things happen to good people. Even people who deny racial prejudice many carry negative associations. Lower expectations, inflated praise and insufficient criticism for minority student achievement. Stem fields give less critises to women and don"t put them to as high aas standards as men. Stereotype and prejudice will go down as you have more contact between groups.
