Ex) start out poor, end up rich. Compared to the past there is more opportunity for upward mobility because labor is more diversified. Status groups exist groups that are defined by how much honor and prestige they have. Equality of result means actual equality in levels of material well-being and prestige including life chances. Equality of opportunity means everyone has equal opportunity to achieve material well-being and prestige.
