They say goodbye to an elderly couple, and it is a very sad moment. They are not entirely happy this point for having to go away. Crosscut to the ranch, where the girls are headed. Gentleman in the middle is identified as the uncle, the other two are his. Uncle tells them that the girls are on their way. Crosscut back to the girls, who are continuing their journey. The stagecoach stops, a medium distance shot. We see this to provide us with important plot information. Behind the little girls, there is a young married couple, the mother holding a baby, on their way to move into the ranch where the girl"s uncle resides. They will become important characters in the story.
