God creates perfect forms, and everything else around us is pale imitation . Before plato and aristotle, there was no evidence of needing to de ne form. Paradeigma is a term that relates to design, but there were no designers back then. It is from the world of craft, not the world of philosophy, that plato got his idea about perfect forms. Deigma was a high-quality example of something and wouldn"t usually be sold. Most ancient civilizations were at one time ruled by someone who claimed to be divine. Images like the lion hunting stuff were used to portray how powerful rulers were (politically and in the military) Greeks are so different and unusual because they practiced democracy. Greece kinda didn"t have a king because it would"ve been hard to unify everybody in it (it"s like a bunch of islands)
