Reformulation of theory: doesn"t matter if it"s internal or external (it"s about stability, thinking that the negative events will endure. Stress with your cognitive vulnerability will lead you to ruminate, which leads someone to develop hopelessness, which leads someone to develop depression. Pessimistic attributional style, facing a lot of stress, many strong relationships and you"re able to vent etc.
