Ethics refers to well-founded standards of right and wrong.
The study and development of ethical standards.
The four moral principles guiding a principle based approach to ethics:
1. Respect for autonomy
a. Creative freedom
b. IP - how much is used
c. Identity - personal lives
d. Respect for body autonomy
e. Acknowledging and respecting the rights of others to make choices in their lives
2. Beneficence
a. Doing good
b. Acting in ways which benefit others
3. Nonmaleficence
