Structure of Professional Letters
Professional letters follow a particular format. An example of this format can be found
below. The letter you are to write for this class is to include:
1. Your intended concentration(s);
2. Your reflection on your CareerLeader results;
3. Your thoughts o our Eplore Co-op assiget ad how it has helped you
think about your upcoming co-op search;
4. What goals you have for your first co-op (i.e., what you would like to learn, what
experience you would like to gain, the type of place you might like to work, etc.);
5. The location (Boston or elsewhere) that you would ideally like to do your co-op,
or that you would be open to considering; and
6. Your contact information, including the address, email and phone number that
your Coordinator could use to reach you.
