World was intent on punishing someone for what happened- empires were gone. People in starving europe saw little relief in capitalism- they had no structure to do it. Europe is facing a threat of communism. In russia they keep talking about the removal of nationstates- there will no longer be nations if marxism has it"s way. Lenin/stalin are preaching to the world about marxism. Out of this despair, a new ideology gets developed. Both men fought in the war and went through shell shock. Both men recognized the anger and despair of a starving population and saw the opportunity for power. In a quasi, somewhat though difficult to define political, social and cultural movement originating in 1920s post war italy.
