Driven by the notion that he can somehow fight communism, he forgets he has to take land and fight people (america makes the same mistake in vietnam) German army ends up in the snow with crazy russian people. Stalin is willing to let go of 25 million people to win. Fenced in, barbed wire surrounded ghetto for jews to live in. 1941- hilter makes death squads in russia. Doesn"t want to enter the war unless we are attacked. Fdr is smart: for the japanese to continue fighting, they need oil.
