You will first read a famous work by a jewish scholar on the characteristics of prophets. We will go through these characteristics more in-depth in class, but try your best to understand each characteristic listed. Then you will read two exemplary works of prophetic literature, the selections from the books of amos and hosea. In your theological reflection essay, work through the following prompts in an essay reaching around 250 words total.
