Economic inequities: regional poverty in developing world- poverty, famine etc, child labor, global human traf cking- taking advantage of migrants trying to get to europe. Economic globalization: global corporations expand, treat the globe as a single market- more money, go to different countries, take advantage of no minimum wage, worker protection, etc. Formation of a bipolar world: cold war europe and migration in post 1989, eu (european union) enlargement- post wwii development. Global terrorism: terrorism: deliberate, systematic use of violence against civilians, cheaper than war, hard to prevent, more effective, accessible to smaller groups.
