It is a piriform ciliated organism (to help free swimming) with an apical performatorium structure (works as a mechanical driller to penetrate through skin) It contains muco-cyst that contains hydrolytic and proteolytic enzymes responsible for tissue lysis during penetration of fish skin. Weakest stage; can only live for 48 hours in this stage, and die if they do not penetrate a fish.
