Socioeconomic status- relative standing in society based on income, power, background, and prestige. Asian and white men make the most money in terms of earnings. African americans do not make as much in the classroom make sure there is professional awareness for this data. Justice system black males are incriminated more than white males black females and black males sent to jail more often. When these people are sent to jail, the black children suffer and then the cycle starts over. Special education learning disabilities occur more in american indians blacks are a higher risk for mental retardation and emotional disabilities. Majority of teachers might be white females so there could be a cultural barrier have to be open and getting to know the individual not the race.
