Option 1: simply just choose user stories that fit into the time period we are given. Customer may not be happy with these stories chosen. Option 2: lay them all out on table and have customer order them. Have customer sort their user stories by importance. Indicate required features for mvp, or milestone 1. 0 as referred to in book. First major release: includes may small iterations where we show customer results for feedback. First time you actually deliver software - for payment! Let them know nice to haves can be included later. Don"t plan nice to haves : yagni (you ain"t gonna need it) 273 days >> 90 days (common as customers usually want more) Explain schedule: customer will admit they need lest. Keeps up momentum and focuses team on deadline.
