Primary concern must be the welfare to those we work with: our obligation to the people we study supersedes our obligations to science, the truth, and seeking new information. Do no harm: worry about the people"s safety, dignity, and privacy. Give anonymity and recognition: must determine in advance whether their hosts/providers of info with to remain anonymous or receive recognition and make every effort to comply to these wishes. Informed consent: should obtain in advance the informed consent of persons being studies, providing info, owning or controlling access to material being studied, or otherwise identified as having interests which might be impacted by the research. While they may fain personally from their work, they must not explicit individuals, groups, animals, ect.
