Retirement: hufe symbol that a big chunk of time is over. Despair is where something comes to an end that you were involved in. Never vs. never again gaining something that would never happen again vs. losing things because of it (never again) Trivializing the trivial figuring out what"s important really enjoying the company of loved ones not taking things for granted suddenly able to put priorities in places forced to shift their thinking. Wish they learned how to live their lives properly. Anger: how unfair life is -- i don"t deserve this. Bargaining: making deals with god -- will change ways and attitude. Depression: sets in -- can"t change it -- losing everything. Numbness: lack of emotion -- state of apathy. Yearning: recognizing ts over -- wants it back.
