Document Summary
Perpetual resources: inexhaustible on a human time scale, essentially we can"t impact them and they won"t go away. They are extremely important, especially with our use of energy. Perpetual energy resource wind power, because wind never stops. Excellent source of power, very few problems except for migrating birds. Geothermal power: areas that we can pump water down into the ground, it converts to steam, the steam creates electricity. The only thing that it puts off is steam. Tidal power: only used in some areas, relatively new. Places with tide coming in twice a day the tide powers a turban, which creates electricity. Wouldn"t be very effective in louisiana - - more so in massachusetts. We need to continue to develop the technology that harnesses these resources. Oil, coal, minerals these resources are in short supply. These are not the best sources of energy we could be using. These resources don"t depend on technology they depend on efficiency and recycling.
