Anatomy- the study of the structure and the relationship to those structures. Dissection- the cutting of a body for a medical study or study. Prosection- finding the structures of an already cut up body. Physiology- the study of the function of the body. Diagnostic techniques: inspection- observing anything that might be different in a body, palpation- touching the body"s surface with the hand. Light touch: auscultation- listening to body sounds. theres a triangle of auscultation on the back, percussion- tapping on the body to see whats happening. Test: look at pics in book of doctors doing things. Cells that make up tissue usually have the same embryonic cells. Two or more organs make up a system. Life processes: metabolism- the sum of all chemical processes. Stem cells is an immature cell, hasn"t made up its mind about what it wants to be: reproduction- the whole body reproduction or formation of new cells.
