Age at which organisms reproduce, frequency of reproduction, the average number of offspring, the lifespan of the offspring, and the death rate of individuals: list some examples of environmental resistance. Weather (natural events), predators, competition for resources: describe the boom-and-bust cycles. A population that experiences a rapid increase and then a rapid decline; a boom in population and then a bust in population. When there"s a rapid increase in population that begins to slow down and eventually stop.
