Many resource-rich countries, because political demands are ignored as a result of a lack of tax-system. Populism elites and established institutions do not fully represent the will of the people. Often destabilizes democratic states, can lead to nondemocratic regimes. International influence like western imperialism, can lead to nondemocratic rule. Totalitarianism a form of nondemocratic rule with a highly centralized state whose regime has a well-defined ideology and seeks to transform and fuse the institutions of state, society and the economy. Political culture democracies are mostly build on liberal values that emphasize freedom.
