Evolutionary competition: overly nice strategies were preyed upon by nasty strategies. Tit for tat: begin with cooperating and copy following action froms the action of the other players. Prisoners dilemma: 37% cooperation when the action of the other person was not known, 16% cooperation when it was known that the other person cooperated.
