Theory: system of thought, coherent; if you have a theory, you can explain everything with it. Psychoanalysis: concept applied to single people but also groups (national identity, group identity) Structuralism: deep structures, manifestations (we can analyze them just as texts) Deconstructivism: questions everything on a level of texts/ language; poststructuralism: questions everything. Gender studies: looks at gender constructions, moves away from biological gender.
